I Corthians 4:15  For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

From the humble beginnings of traveling in the Gospel Van, preaching throughout the USA and Mexico as a mobile ministry until now, God has blessed and ordained Bishop Dutton as an Apostle among Apostles.   Among the many accolades and titles given to Bishop Dutton, none are as great as father.  His ministry has expanded over the past 35 years to include spiritual sons, ministries, and churches.  His Apostolic and Prophetic covering serves these ministries in the USA, South Africa, West Africa, Mexico, South America, and the Philippines.

Bishop Dutton is the husband of one wife.  In September of 1976, Bishop Dutton met and married Pastor Phyllis in their home church, First Assembly of God, where Bishop Dutton's father, the late Apostle J.L. Dutton,  pastored.  In the summer of 1979, Bishop Dutton took a home group of 6 ladies in Marion, SC and established Praise Temple.  To this day, this ministry is a thriving work, sending missionaries and ministries around the world.  

In January of 1986  Bishop Dutton and Pastor Phyllis established New Covenant Christian Center in the Belvedere Elementary School Cafeteria, in North Augusta.  New Covenant has become the home church of many ministries in the Augusta, GA area.   In 2002 Bishop Dutton founded the Covenant Fellowship of Churches and Ministries International with an effort to give a greater ministry covering and fellowship to the many sons in ministry that call on him as an Apostle.  The original vision of Bishop Dutton was to establish a church without prejudice and a people of worship and praise.  That vision has come to pass and grown to be a ministry that empowers the church and is building the Kingdom. 

Bishop Dutton and Pastor Phyllis have two accepted children, Kristin and Kandace.  They also have four selected children, a sibling group of three brothers and one sister.  Jessie, James, Matthew, & Isaiah were adopted in 2003 and are all growing in the faith of their parents.  Kristin is married to Dustin Young and gave birth to the first grandbaby in October 2006, Zion.  They had their second child in September of 2008, her name is Zoe.  They both are active in the local church and Bishop's vision.  Kandace is the minister over the dance and drama ministry at New Covenant and carries a unique and powerful anointing in the arts.  Bishop & Pastor Phyllis reside in Evans, GA.
