The Kingdom Arts Ministry at Covenant Fellowship Church in Augusta, GA is under the direction of Minister Kandace Dutton. "A Dancer Created To Worship" that is one of many expressions that can be used to describe this dynamic and anointed woman of God, Kandace Dutton. Kandace grew up in her father's (Bishop Jim Dutton) church that had a strong emphasis on Praise and Worship, incorporating Dance and the Arts into their Worship. In services is where Kandace really started having a desire to dance and express her love for God in Worship.
Kandace has extensive formal training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballroom over 1o years in all. In addition she has a wide range of experience in HipHop, Modern and cultural dances. Together she has combined her training and experience into coreographing and dancing a Kingdom Expression.
Kandace is now pursuing to teach and minister to other ministries in incorporating Dance ministry and Arts departments into their Vision. In 2005 she worked with Tim Pecero and his band "A Peculiar People" at a conference at Cornerstone Church in Sparks, GA. She choreograph and her team danced during all of the services. In 2006 she started traveling to do Dance Workshops "A Dancer Created To Worship". The first one she did was for Dr. Angelo Hatcher and Ebenezer Rock Church in Hephzibah, GA. She was instrumental in starting their dance ministry.
Along with directing the Arts Ministry at the church, Kandace is currently teaching dance at Cutno Dance studios in Augusta. She has also worked extensively with the Augusta Ballet and has toured with the Millennium Music Theater Group out of Franklin, TN. We are expecting great things out of this anointed vessel in weeks and years to come, as she pursues God in the Arts. |
